How easy is it to order a photo card? Click here to see the ordering process.
I didn't see a standard template that I liked. Are your styles customizable?
Items or text can be added to or subtracted from one of our standard styles. You can also create a custom design order based on your preferences,
or create a card similar to one of our template designs. Please note that there will be a design fee depending on the complexity of the customization.

What if the template only has 3 photos but I would like 4 or 5? Is there an additional customization fee to add photos?
Generally, we can easily add a few photos at no additional charge.
If it is beyond basic changes or requires a vastly different design, we will contact you to discuss customization fees.
Do you have an option for design-only so that I can print my own cards?
Yes! If you select "Option 1: Print-My-Own" when ordering, you will only be charged for the design(25$),
and we will email you the Full-Sized Flattened Image (.jpg format) so that you can print either at home
or have the cards developed professionally.
Simply Fresh Designs is not responsible for color variations or irregular cropping that may occur due to differences in printing.
On what kind of paper are the announcements printed?
All sizes of photo cards are professionally printed on Fuji Crystal archival photo paper with a matte finish. They are actual photographs that will last a lifetime. If you desire glossy finish, please request it when ordering.
Can you print a message on the back of my photo card?
Because our photocards are printed professionally, on the back appears a watermark of 'Fuji Crystal Paper'
as well as an order number from the photo lab, hence we are not able to print a message on the back.
Many people write a handwritten message on the back or mount the card on cardstock with a printed message on the reverse side.
We print folded greeting or note cards for an additional fee.

My printed card is darker than it appeared on my computer monitor. Why is this?
Each computer monitor is callibrated differently which means that colors may appear darker or
lighter than the actual printed card. Simply Fresh Designs is not responsible for color variations in printed cards.

What if my photo has subjects, people or parts of it that I don't want included on my cards?
Please send us the original full-size photo and we will crop it for you. If you would like it cropped a certain way, please indicate that in the comment box when ordering.
Can I use a professional portrait or photograph on my cards?
Professional portraits and photographs remain the property of the photographer who took the picture. We will gladly use a professional photograph or portrait if you obtain written permission from the photographer for us to use it. You must send us a copy of the signed, written release or permission form along with your photo or order. It must specifically grant Simply Fresh Designs.com permission to use and edit the photograph for the purpose of creating and reproducing your cards.
Do envelopes cost extra?
No. Envelopes are included in the price of the photo cards. Our envelopes are heavyweight (70 lb) square flap envelopes. These envelopes have a more substantial feel than a 24lb. envelope. They have a nice square flap that are appropriate for sending cards, invitations, and announcements. The 4 ¾ x 6 ½ (A6 size) & 5 ¼ x 7 ¼ (A7 size) come in white only.
Do you offer any address labels?
Yes, I offer matching return address labels. Each label is 1/2 inch x 1 3/4 inch.
Each sheet of 80 labels is $3.00.
During the ordering process you will be given an opportunity to select a design.

Will I receive a proof before my announcement is printed?
Yes. A link to view your proof will be e-mailed within 3 business days of receiving your order details and photographs. Any changes can be made at that time, and a revised proof will be sent. Once you approve the proof, it is final and goes to print. We encourage you to carefully check the proof for any mistakes, as we are not responsible for any errors once the proof is approved.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
No payment is due until after final approval of proof. As a courtesy to our company, please do not submit inquiries or order unless you intend to purchase cards.
How do I pay you for my photo cards?
After you have approved your final proof, you will receive an invoice via email through PayPal.
The email will have a link which will direct to you a secure website where you can enter
your credit card or debit card information. You do NOT need a PayPal account to make a payment.
If you wish to pay with a check, please note that your order will not be shipped until the check has cleared.
How are orders shipped?
After finalizing your photo card design proof your order will be shipped within 3 business days (M-F) via USPS Priority Mail. Please allow 5-10 business days to receive your order after final approval of your proof. Expedited shipping prices vary, please contact us for more information.
Will you ship my order overnight express if I am in a hurry?

What if I change my mind? What is your cancellation policy?
If you change your mind before finalizing your proof, no payment is due. If you want to use a different photo there is a $5 design fee (please keep in mind that unlimited revisions are for one base design only). Completed orders are non-refundable and returns are not accepted. A proof is provided for this reason and ask that you check all information on the proof very carefully. Once your proof is approved, we are not able to make changes or refund your money.
Will you touch-up/edit my photographs?
Yes, basic touch-up (removal of blemishes, baby acne ...) is available at no additional charge. If you have any specific suggestions, please note them when ordering. Editing such as converting to sepia or black and white, cropping ... are included at no additional charge as well.
How should I send my photo? Can I send more than one photo?
You may submit up to 3 photos. The options are to upload, e-mail, or mail your photographs:

When uploading your photographs (.jpg files) please make sure they have been saved at a high resolution (at least a 4x6 at 300 dpi which is 1200x1800 pixels) and that they are the original full image. Please do not crop or edit the picture yourself. Depending on your internet connection and size of image, it may take a few moments for your images to upload. Email
When e-mailing your photographs (.jpg files) please make sure they have been saved at a high resolution (at least a 4x6 at 300 dpi which is 1200x1800 pixels) and that they are the original full image. Please do not crop or edit the picture yourself. You may have to send one photograph at a time depending on what your e-mail allows for file attachments. Send as many photographs that you want to the email listed at the bottom of the page.
Mail
Mail your printed photographs to us and we will scan them for no additional charge. Your photographs will be returned with your photo announcement order. Please email for a mailing address. |
