Nativity Blocks
I saw these cute nativity blocks for children on pinterest. I knew I had the images from a purchase long ago on pccrafter.com (which no longer exists). Me & My Big Ideas sold the stickers but I can’t find either digital or stickers anywhere online. I hope it’s appropriate to share these edited & framed images with ya’ll since they aren’t available anymore. These are the blocks I made. The fun part is that you can make it as little or big as you want. You could do just Joseph, Mary, and Baby Jesus… leave out the wisemen & angels… no animals, etc. Lots of options.
This was a fun project for this holiday season. I kinda wish I would have used 1×4’s… but I used a 2×4 for the longer Scenes… and a 2×3 for the little blocks. You can also use a 2×4 for the little blocks as they will fit well. I’m no modge-podge or staining expert, but it seemed to work out alright. And I’m pleased to announce that I didn’t even cut off any fingers when I used the saw to cut the boards. That is always a good thing, especially when it’s your first time.

Thank you so much for sharing these. I saw these on the internet last year and have searched and searched to find them. I did find out they they had been discontinued so I just tossed the idea of making them to the wind……………until today. Wahoo!
Amazing as usual. I so need these.
Adorable! Love them Heather. I looked at the link you posted and in the comments someone posted the link to Hobby Lobby where you can still buy the stickers, in case anyone is interested.

These are great and just in time for the 12 days of Christmas on our neighbors. Did you stain or modge-podge first?
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much Heather! It is a brilliant idea for little children 🙂
Have only just seen your Nativity blocks. Thanks so much for sharing.I plan to make them with my Primary class at the end of 2013.
I made this with the girls in act days and I coulden’t find the stikers anywhere but I find some diferent ones on Oriental Trading webside, they turned out really cute!
Thank you for sharing this. God Bless.

So cute! Thanks! Laminating and sending to my missionary sister.
Thank you so much. I’m using these as gifts.
Thank you so much! I love how each block has a background – even better than the stickers! I’m making several sets as gifts!
Question – I had pictures printed at Walmart but they aren’t “real” pictures. When I attempted to Modge Podge the fronts it ran. Any idea where I can get “real” pictures?
AHHH!! I just came across your blog via your quiet books and I’ve been working my way through your entire blog, loving all of your amazing talent! I’ve been wanting to make these nativity blocks (also after seeing them on Pinterest) but couldn’t find the images. Thank you so much for sharing!

Hello! My name is Melanie Ferguson. I am wondering if I can use your images to donate these cute blocks to the festival of trees. It’s a charity event where 100% of the proceeds go to help children get the care they need. They would be sold there in the boutique. Like I said, the money made will go straight to the children that need charity care. These are adorable, but I definitely didn’t want to do it without your permission. I am on a committee that I have been on for 10 years where I donate time and items to help kids in need. Please let me know. Thank you!

Thank you for these. I am planning on using them for Christmas gifts.
I don’t see the 3×8 nativity scene in the download, can you upload it again for me please? These are great btw!! I can’t want to make one for my kids and for a gift.
I can not download the Nativity scene is there anyway you can send it to me? When I try, it gets only part of the picture. I am wanting to make these for my Sunday School children.
Thank you so much!!
Hi, Just wanted to let you know that you can buy the stickers on Amazon. The company that makes them is Me & My Big Ideas.
Can I buy the Nativity Prints from you so I can sell them?
(So I can make the blocks and sell them.)
I had neighbors who saw mine and wanted some also. I hope that it was ok for me to share with them. I charged them for the paper used to copy them.
I am so happy! Thank you so much! I have been searching for these images for so long now. Thank you!!! Merry Christmas!
Anyone still have the downloadable prints of these? How can I get the print out without copyright issues. I have a super Saturday coming up that I’m in charge of and we love it.
I would love them too and would like to use them for Super Saturday as well. Thanks :).
Anyone have the downloadable prints of these adorable nativity scenes?
Why does pinterest need access to my camera ,files etc? Love the idea for my granddaughter.
Thanks so much for sharing. Love these!
good morning! I absolutely love this nativity. I downloaded it but the picture that is the nativity scene that fits on the 3×8 won’t come up. Is there a separate file for that one? I would love to make these for my church girls for Christmas. Can you help me get that scene?

I used modge podge to seal the paper to the wood. After a couple coats of Modge Podge, I did 2 top coats of Liquitex varnish (satin finish I think). It prevents the pieces from sticking together (a usual problem with Modge Podge). Got is advice from a wonderful employee at Dick Blick’s
Thank you for this! We printed these for our Sunday School class to go along with our nativity story. They loved them!
I loved it !!! Perfect for use in the nursery. Thank you for sharing ! Happy 2019 !!
